Before your visit
Preparing for MAJA
MAJA is time to pause, feel and reconnect with yourself.
MAJA is a three-hour massage session created by Laura, with room to slow down, pay attention to your body and make time for yourself.
To help you prepare comfortably for our meeting, I recommend the following.
1. Give yourself time to arrive
Plan your day so that you do not have to rush before the session. If you can, avoid scheduling important tasks immediately afterwards.
2. Take care of yourself
Try not to arrive very hungry or straight after a large meal. Drink water according to your needs.
3. Tell me about your health
Before the session, it is important to tell me about health conditions, injuries, pregnancy, medication and anything else that could affect its safety.
4. Allow yourself to take your time
You do not need to know in advance what you expect from the session or how to describe what you feel in your body. You can simply come and make this time your own.
5. Be open about what you feel
During the session, you can always say if you would like a different pressure or position, or feel uncomfortable. Your comfort and safety matter throughout our time together.
6. Arrive sober
Massage sessions cannot take place while you are under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances.
7. Give yourself space to reconnect with your body
If you rarely make time to notice your body, you may initially find it difficult to pause, relax or listen to yourself. That is completely normal.
We often run on autopilot: working, solving problems, caring for others and responding to what is happening around us. Yet we rarely stop to ask what we feel and how our bodies are really doing.
There is no need to force yourself to relax or expect everything to change in an instant. Everyone is different, and so is each person's experience. Some people may settle easily, others may need more time, and for someone else this may be the first time they truly pay attention to their body.
You do not need to know how to relax or what you should feel. Simply allow yourself to pause and gradually begin listening to your body again.
MAJA is time without rushing, without anything to prove and without a particular result to achieve. Time for yourself, your body and the possibility of rediscovering a connection with yourself.
